Graduation & 16th annual day celebrations — (05/13/2023)

அன்புடையீர் வணக்கம்,

Please be reminded that our school’s graduation & 16th annual day celebration is on May 13, 2022 at Folsom High School Multipurpose Auditorium, 1655 Iron Point Rd, Folsom, CA 95630. 

It’s an early start as we have a packed agenda where students will be performing in the morning session followed by graduation, volunteer appreciation after lunch. 

All students, parents, & volunteers are requested to be dressed with traditional Tamil attire. 

Please check-in at the registration desk to get lunch coupons as you enter. You should have already paid for the lunch to get the lunch coupons. Students and registered volunteers receiving school sponsored lunch should also get the lunch coupons. 

High-level event timeline:

8:00 AM – Volunteers arrive

By 8:45 AM – All students check-in

9:00 AM onwards – Event starts with Tamil Thaai Vazthu performed by grade 8 students

12:00 – 12:50 PM – Lunch

12:50 PM – Student seating for Graduation

1:00 – 4:00 PM – Graduation event (8th grade graduation will kick-off the proceedings)

2:30 – 3:30 PM – snacks/tea

Parking: Parking lot available on Prairie City Rd should be used (adjacent to the Football field, opposite to Intel) if the lot on Iron Point Road becomes full.

Graduation day lunch: Boxed Indian lunch will be provided for those who have reserved. Though we have specifically asked for the restaurant to avoid nuts, parents are asked to watch out for any food allergies, just in case.
